NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL ORDINANCE 2926 Hearing Date, Time, and Location: Tuesday, June 6, 2023; 5:30 p.m. City Council Chambers – 3rd Floor 380 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR 97034 This meeting will be conducted both in-person at City Hall or virtually via Zoom. Several avenues are available to the public for viewing this Public Hearing or participating remotely. File Number: Ordinance 2926 Petitioner: City of Lake Oswego Nature of Hearing: The Lake Oswego City Council will hold a public hearing at the above date, time and location to consider Ordinance 2926, vacating the public interest in a 6-ft. wide pathway located northwesterly of the railroad right-of-way of Union Pacific Railroad from Boones Ferry Road to Bryant Road. The public will have the opportunity to comment on Ordinance 2926. If the City Council approves the street vacation, it will enact Ordinance 2926 implementing the street vacation. The title of Ordinance 2926 is as follows: ORDINANCE 2926 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE OSWEGO VACATING THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN A 6-FOOT WIDE PATHWAY LOCATED NORTHWESTERLY OF THE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OF UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD FROM BOONES FERRY ROAD TO BRYANT ROAD. Time Limits on Testimony The purpose of time limits on testimony is to provide all interested persons with an adequate opportunity to present and respond to testimony while at the same time ensuring that the hearing can be conducted in an efficient and ex- peditious manner. The following time limits on testimony shall be observed: — 10 minutes for a representative of a recognized neigh- borhood association, homeowner association, govern- ment or government agency, or other incorporated public interest organization; — 5 minutes for other persons. Any person in attendance at the hearing and entitled to testify may cede his or her time for testimony to another person entitled to testify and thereby increase that person’s time for testimony.
