NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EXEMPTION FROM THE COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENT Portland Public Schools, District No.1J, Multnomah County (District) is seeking an exemption for the Competitive Bidding Requirement for the following project: Ida B. Wells High School Modernization Project. The District intends to compete this work using the Request for Proposals (RFP) Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) Alternative Contracting Method as per the District’s Public Contracting Rules PPS-49-0600 through PPS-49-0690. Under PPS Public Contracting Rule 49-0630(7), the District shall give notice and provide interested parties with the opportunity to request a public hearing as required by ORS 279C.335(5). A requested public hearing shall be for the purpose of taking comments on the District’s draft Findings in support of this exemption.
