CITY OF MILWAUKIE 2024 GRIND AND PAVE Bids due: April 30, 2024 @ 1:00 PM INVITATION TO BID CIP-2024-T61 Bids will be received electronically by the Engineering Department until 1:00 p.m. Additional bid submission procedure information can be found in the Bid Booklet. An optional pre bid meeting will be held April 17th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Zoom instructions can be found in the bid booklet. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: — 2-inch grind and existing ACP — 2-inch warm mix asphalt inlay — Permanent markings — Asphalt berms on unimproved shoulders All work is to be completed by September 30, 2024. The Contract Documents may be examined at http://bids.milwaukieoregon.gov/. Interested parties will need to create a free login account to view contract documents. The account will be used to notify plan holders of any addenda throughout the bidding process. All bids shall be submitted via email. All bids shall be submitted in the prescribed form and said manner as indicated in the Information for Bidders. Bid submission procedure information can be found in the Bid Booklet. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond executed in favor of the City of Milwaukie in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Bidders shall be pre-qualified with the Oregon Department of Transportation, in the Class of Work as appropriate prior to the public opening and reading of the bids. The Engineers Estimate ranges from $1,210,000 to $1,410,000. No bid will be considered unless the bid contains, or is accompanied by, a statement by the bidder that the provisions required by ORS 279C.838 or ORS 279C.840, as applicable, pertaining to prevailing wages, shall be included as part of the Contract.
