NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Woodburn and the Woodburn Urban Renewal Agency, Marion County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 will be held in the Woodburn City Hall Council Chambers, 270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn, Oregon. The meeting will take place on Saturday, the 27th day of April 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the City of Woodburn and Woodburn Urban Renewal Area proposed budgets (combined in one document) and comments from the public on said budgets. A copy of the budget document may be obtained by contacting Heather Pierson at heather.pierson@ci.woodburn.or.us or by phone at (503) 980-6318 on or after April 22, 2024. However, the City strongly encourages accessing the document on the City of Woodburn website www.ci.woodburn.or.us. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may comment on the budget. The following options are available for participation: — In person at City Hall during the public comment portion of the meeting. — Online through the City’s web conferencing platform during the public comment portion of the meeting. The budget committee will read, review, and consider all public comment. The meeting may also include a public hearing to discuss possible uses of state revenue sharing funds.
