Community Notice of Title VI Public Hearing What: FormulaGrant/Title VI Public Hearing The Scappoose School District will host a public hearing regarding our application for the Indian Education Formula Grant Program (Title VI). This program is designed to address the unique cultural, language, and educationally related academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students, including preschool children, and ensure that all students meet challenging State academic standards. The Scappoose School District invites the community to participate in this informative hearing that will provide an opportunity for the public, including parents and students, to become more familiar with the Title VI program. We will invite input about our students’ needs and our proposed objectives.
