TO: JAMIE V. STEVENSON, the above-named Defendant. YOU ARE HEREBY REQUIRED to appear and defend the Complaint filed against you in the above entitled cause within thirty (30) days from the date of first publication of this summons upon you. If you fail to appear and defend, the Plaintiff(s) will apply to the court for the relief demanded in the complaint, and shown below. SUMMARY STATEMENT: Plaintiff’s claim is related to a Retail Installment Contract signed on October 24, 2020, by Defendant, a copy of which may be seen in the Court file. Seller under the Contract assigned its interest in the Contract to Plaintiff. Defendant failed to honor the terms of the Contract. PLAINTIFF’S PRAYER FOR RELIEF: A. On the First Claim for Relief, for judgment against Defendant in the principal amount of $14, 284.23, plus pre-judgment interest on that amount at a rate of $7.04 per day from July 27, 2023 until entry of judgment; plus Plaintiff’s attorney fees, costs, and disbursements, plus post-judgment interest on the amount of the judgment at the contract rate of 17.99% per annum from the date of entry of the judgment until paid in full, plus all other relief this Court deems equitable or just and reasonable; or alternatively, B. On the Second Claim for Relief, for judgment against Defendant in the principal amount of $14, 284.23, plus pre-judgment interest on that amount at a rate of 9% per annum from July 27, 2023 until entry of judgment; plus post-judgment interest on the amount of the judgment at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of entry of the judgment until paid in full, plus all other relief this Court deems equitable or just and reasonable.
