NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The City Council for the City of Columbia City has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday September 17, 2020 beginning at 6:15 p.m. to consider a legislative text amendment to the Columbia City Development Code Chapter 7.60 Commercial Zone that would add outdoor boat, recreational vehicle, and other vehicle storage as a permitted use (City File No. LU 20-03). Attendance and participation in the meeting may only be accomplished through conference call by calling 425-436-6318 with an access code of 752011*. Wayne Weigandt, property owner, for property identified on Columbia County Tax Assessor Map 5012100 at Lot 430 and generally located on Highway 30 between Pacific St and A St, submitted the application.

Approval of the application is subject to the applicant demonstrating compliance with the requirements of Columbia City Development Code (CCDC) 7.160 Procedures for Decision Making: Legislative. Following the public hearing, the City Council may take action on the application which includes approving the application as presented, approving the application with conditions, or denying the application as presented.

Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and present oral and written testimony regarding the application. If you would like to comment by cannot participate in the hearing, you may submit your comments in writing to City Hall by 4:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing. Copies of all related documents are available for review at City Hall located at 1840 Second Street in Columbia City, Oregon. The staff report will be available for review at City Hall approximately one week prior to the hearing. Copies of all documents can be purchased at cost.

Pursuant to ORS 197.763, failure to raise an issue by the close of the record, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal based on that issue.
